I don't have a gallbladder anymore, unfortunately I was very bloated ... very uncomfortable ... I started taking Gallmet Natural and I am significantly better. I stopped taking it as a trial, then the bloating came back. Hence my question, should I take this for life? Won't it have some side effects in the long run?

In the case of biliary obstruction, there is a lack of adequate bile at mealtimes to break down the fat that was previously stored in the gallbladder. For this reason, you will need bile replacement for the rest of your life if you want to live a better quality of life. You can try to stop taking the tablets, but if your symptoms return, we recommend that you continue taking them. Taking GALLMET should not cause any problems in the long term.
