What does bile do?

the bile's role in fat breakdown digestion aid

Dr. Antal Miklós Várhalmi, the developer of GALLMET capsules, spoke about the role of bile and bile acids in digestion in the programme Tea with Gloria on Channel Six.

The short discussion shows that the gallbladder is an important organ of the digestive system. The bile produced by the liver is stored and concentrated here and flows into the duodenum as a result of the chewing stimulus. Bile and bile acids support digestion by breaking down fat molecules into small particles and activating the production of the enzyme lipase, thus supporting fat digestion. It is advisable to eat plenty of food at breakfast to allow the bile fluid produced and thickened during the night to flow out.
