We are the second most obese nation in Europe!

"The 2018 edition of the Good State Report of the National University of Public Service, based on the 2016 WHO data cited in the report, reports that 69.6 percent of Hungarian men and 53.8 percent of women were overweight and obese." Source: 24.hu

Innovative quality of life, if you like to eat and if you have some excess weight!

Obesity also means significant digestive problems! "Hungarian cuisine is not known for its frugality, but fatty and spicy foods, delicacies fried in deep frying oil, stews are not good for the digestive system in the long run." Source: Mindmegette.hu
If you eat more food than usual, you may not have enough bile to break down the food you eat, because of this:

  • you may also have digestive problems: abdominal pains/constipation, bloating, constipation, diarrhoea, etc., which may cause
  • quality of life can deteriorate: joy of life, mood, work, lost working days, etc., and even
  • there is not enough bile to neutralise endotoxins in the gut, so
  • cytokines can be produced in any part of the body that cause inflammation, so
  • inflammation can cause pain and soreness in several parts of the body, which in many cases may not be known exactly and may be treated with symptomatic medicines

What can you do if you have bile problems?

  • While there are general recommendations, it is up to each individual to work out for themselves which foods and ingredients to exclude from their diet, taking into account their individual sensitivities.
  • Except after a so-called gallstone attack, fasting is forbidden! The permanent cessation of gallbladder contraction, too strict a diet, is conducive to the formation of stones, as it does not stimulate the liver to produce bile.
  • For similar reasons, fat intake should not be completely avoided!
  • A smaller, lower-fat, high-fibre diet four to five times a day is recommended.
  • It is advisable to reduce the consumption of foods containing sugar.
  • Make sure you drink enough fluids (2-3 litres of non-carbonated water per day is recommended)
  • Avoid caffeinated drinks and alcohol.
  • Frying in hot oil should be avoided, and meat and vegetables should be cooked by steaming, boiling or grilling.
  • It's worth trying to include as many low-fat, vegetable soups as possible in your diet.
  • As obesity is the most important risk factor for gallstone disease, maintaining a healthy weight and exercising regularly can go a long way towards prevention. Source: Mindmegette.hu
  • In addition, by taking bile acid products, you can make up for the lack of bile and alleviate the above symptoms!
