I would like to ask for advice! Here's what it's about! I was hospitalized 3 days ago for a gallbladder problem, I am fine now, but this morning I was told that they will remove my gallbladder tomorrow morning! Do you think this is absolutely necessary after a lab and an ultrasound? Thank you in advance for your answer!

We do not want to overrule your doctor's decision. The urgency of the operation will be decided by the results of the laboratory tests and the amount and composition of the stones in your gallbladder. We do not know this, so it would be irresponsible for us to take a position. If your gallbladder is full of gallstones, or if the gallstones are larger than about 20 mm, the type of stones is calcareous gallstones, and there is already little bile in your gallbladder, surgery may be absolutely justified.
