The use of this product is particularly recommended for the following conditions and target groups:

• For people with osteoarthritis, to help relieve knee, hip and small-joint complaints associated with cartilage wear, and to support cartilage nutrition.
• For active athletes and people performing physical work, to protect joints, tendons and ligaments exposed to increased mechanical strain.

• There is insufficient data regarding its safety during pregnancy and lactation, therefore its use is not recommended.

Based on clinical studies of Ovomet® eggshell membrane, an improvement in subjective joint comfort and a reduction in stiffness may begin after just 3‑10 days of regular use. Structural cartilage protection and lasting strengthening of the connective-tissue matrix become noticeable after 1‑2 weeks of use.

Gallmet Joint + Cartilage is a complex dietary supplement with a fivefold mechanism of action, formulated to provide comprehensive support for the musculoskeletal system.
While conventional joint-support supplements usually contain only isolated glucosamine or chondroitin, the Gallmet formula combines clinically tested Ovomet® eggshell membrane — which naturally contains collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin as part of its matrix — with two targeted plant extracts (devil’s claw and Boswellia serrata), as well as essential connective-tissue micronutrients (vitamin C, copper and manganese).

Ovomet® is a patented eggshell membrane powder from a natural source, which naturally contains type I, V and X collagen, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, chondroitin sulphate and elastin. Human clinical studies have shown that Ovomet® components are absorbed exceptionally quickly: clinical tests indicate that improvement may begin between days 3‑10 of use. With regular use for 50 days, reductions of up to 58.3% in joint stiffness and improvements of 32.3% in functional movement capacity have been observed.

These three micronutrients act as essential cofactors in the body’s own tissue-rebuilding processes. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation and thereby to the maintenance of healthy cartilage and bones. Manganese contributes to normal connective-tissue formation and the maintenance of normal bones, while copper supports the maintenance of normal connective tissues and the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

The extracts of devil’s claw (Harpagophytum procumbens, 800 mg/daily dose) and Indian frankincense (Boswellia serrata, 100 mg/daily dose) work synergistically to support joint comfort, coolness and flexibility. They are used both traditionally and in modern phytotherapy to soothe joint complaints and maintain mobility.

The recommended daily dose of the product is 2×2 capsules. To achieve the desired effect, it is recommended to take the capsules during or immediately after a meal, with plenty of liquid (such as a glass of water).

Taking the product during a meal promotes the optimal absorption and bioavailability of the active ingredients, especially the plant components and minerals. Furthermore, devil’s claw extract can naturally stimulate gastric acid secretion, so taking it with food prevents potential stomach irritation in sensitive individuals.

The product is suitable for both long-term courses and continuous use. Because cartilage regeneration and connective-tissue rebuilding are slow biological processes, continuous use for at least 2‑3 months is recommended to achieve optimal results; however, based on clinical data, improvements in joint comfort can be felt within the first 1‑2 weeks.

Yes. The anti-inflammatory plant components of devil’s claw and Boswellia serrata can influence blood-clotting processes. Therefore, if you are taking oral anticoagulant therapy (such as Warfarin or Syncumar), we recommend consulting your treating physician.

There is no issue with taking Gallmet Joint + Cartilage capsules, as they do not interact with each other.

Removing the capsule shell does not impair the bioavailability of the active ingredients or the effectiveness of the product; however, the powder on its own, when mixed with water, can have a distinctly unpleasant taste:

• The devil’s claw extract has an extremely bitter taste.
• The Indian frankincense / Boswellia extract has a strong, resinous, herbal aroma.
• For this reason, when mixed with plain water, the taste of the liquid can be unpleasant or difficult for many people to swallow.

No. Although the main focus of the Gallmet brand is the use of natural bile acids to support digestion, the Gallmet Joint + Cartilage product is a targeted formula specific to the musculoskeletal system. The product is explicitly designed to support cartilage, joints, tendons and connective tissues through a combination of Ovomet® eggshell membrane, herbal extracts and organ-specific minerals. Therefore, this product can be taken together with any other Gallmet-branded product.
