Bile leakage after gallbladder surgery and how to replace it - Video

Expert discussion with Dr Erika Balaicza (doctor, internist, naturopath)
Fix TV - Sinusz programme 2015.06.08.
If someone has had his gall bladder removed, then there is nothing to store the bile that is constantly being produced, so it keeps flowing from the liver into the duodenum. So the gallbladder's storage function is lost. This means that not enough bile gets into the duodenum when it is needed - when eating fatty foods.
Therefore, people who have had gallbladder removal surgery usually experience abdominal symptoms (bloating, feeling full, diarrhoea, etc.) six months after the operation.
People who have these symptoms of bile leakage should take a product containing bile acid before or during meals to help the intestines produce enzymes and aid digestion.
GALLMET products are available in ALL Hungarian pharmacies and herbal shops or can be ordered!
