Beneficial effect of bile acids against Candida

Literature and studies show that bile acid has a positive effect on the control of Candida fungus. In particular, bile acid supplementation is recommended for patients who have contracted Candida fungal infections due to chemotherapy or are taking steroids. In addition, taking proton pump inhibitors, i.e. stomach acid reducers, can also lead to yeast infections.

In the case of fungal infections, the course of the infection is faster when taking bile acid capsules.
