Hello everyone!
I had my gall bladder taken out 2 months ago and since then my digestion has been completely upset, and unfortunately my sugar levels have gone up with it. So far I have not had to take sugar medication, diet was enough!
Does anyone have any experience with this? Which product is recommended to take for this?
My stomach doesn't hurt, just my digestion has changed completely.
Thanks in advance for your help!Aniko S.
Dear Mary!
Important information:
Unfortunately, almost everyone has problems after a gall bladder operation, because the bile produced immediately drains into the horseshoe casing. So the gallbladder that was removed no longer stores the bile, so when you eat you miss the amount that used to be there waiting to be discharged in large quantities into the horseshoe. In the short term, this causes bloating and abdominal pain, but in the long term it can lead to sugar problems, inflammation of the intestine and psoriasis. In principle, there is a chance that eating bile acids will also normalise your sugar levels, but check with your GP.
Gradually increase the daily dose:
- First 3 days: 1 capsule a day at lunch
- Next 3 days: 2 capsules daily (breakfast and lunch)
- After 3 days: 3 capsules daily (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
Choose the dose that gives you the best sensation and continue taking it.
- Take the capsule with or at the start of a meal in addition to a normal diet
- Do not use when dieting (may cause diarrhoea, nausea)
- Up to 2 capsules can be taken at the same time with a hearty meal
- Drink 2-3 litres of water a dayGALLMED
